Alpaca Shows
Alpaca shows are used to produce promotional photos of farm production.
Often the shown animals are sheared and the fleece is judged separately. The following characteristics are taken into consideration when judging the fleece: fineness and handle, uniformity of micron, length and color, brightness, density, character, impurities, clean weigh, and others.

These animals can compete in three different types: full-fleeced halter, fleece and composite, which recognize fiber quality and quantity as a component of conformation. Judging is scored with a 60% for fleece and a 40% weighing. Color classes are shown separately. Alpaca shows are used to produce promotional photos of farm production.
